Here's another tip worth mentioning, sorry I forgot to tell you earlier. I learned this from someone here on Medium, but I don't recall who. This works.

On twitter, when I tweet my Medium story, I used many hashtags, but one in particular ALWAYS gets me retweets and follows and some even click through to read my Medium - #writerslift. When you hashtag with writers lift, other writers know you're specifically doing that to get fellow writer support. So, just like how we cruise around Medium and try to read and comment and support fellow members here, use #writerslift, read others (as much as you can devote some time to that) and you will see your twitter grow AND hopefully your Medium. When I read about that tip here on Medium I thought, oh what the heck, I'll give it a try. Without fail, every time I use that hashtag, I get retweets and more follows.

Then I thought, hm, what if other social media platforms use the same hashtag #writerslift and YUP! Use that all over and watch other writers help support your effort. ♥
