Forgive my naivete, but I never thought non-paying Medium readers earn money anyway. I never bothered to look into it in great detail because at only $5/mo, I signed up as a paying Member from day one. I just go with the flow. . . But it kina surprises me to learn that non-paying readers would EARN? Am I understanding that?
